Hi Dan! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and reading! We had a great time visiting both Harpoon and Long Trail last month. Its a shame we lived so close for so many years and didn't head over to tour it sooner!

It was fun reliving the trip by "digging" up some (not-so) old history on Boston beer drinking and Harpoon!

Hopefully I'll be up again in the fall, since I travel to Chester, VT frequently for work.

PS. Thank you for great beer! :)

Ice cream on the bench in front of the variety store. Sand in my ears even after I shower. A cold one at Howard's Pub. Shelling. Sunset on Silver Lake, sunrise on the beach on the north side of the island. Greenies biting me then getting revenge on them with a quick swipe. Reading the tombstones in the cemeteries. The Ocracoke Preservation Society's museum. Pony pasture...so much more!

Kathie, you look GREAT! It's a cute swimsuit, too! And for the record, I have those stretch marks and mommy pounds that I make peace with and even wear a swimsuit out in public! I figure that by the time I'm out there with the kids, I'm so busy chasing them around and having a good time that I don't stop to consider what anyone might see. I really appreciate the fact that you were brave enough (is brave the right word for it?)to be real, and that makes you all the more gracious in my book. :)

It is inspirational isn't it! I didn't get motivated to run a marathon, but I ran a Disney 5K last October and it was FUN! Like really fun, surprisingly fun :)
