Baking for Puppy: Peanut Butter-Banana Bones

So, I told you the basic Peanut Butter Cookie recipe was versatile. Didn't believe me did you? But it is!

See, with just a quick adaptation you can make them into Peanut Butter and Banana treat that your doggie will love!

Bones!

Peanut Butter and Banana Bones:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Ingredients:

1 cup Oatmeal
1.5 cups wheat flour (or coconut or rice flour)
1/2 cup ground flax (if you don't have this just go ahead and add more oatmeal & flour)
1/3 cup peanut butter
1 ripe banana
1 cup hot water

Mix it up. Roll out (add a little flour if it sticks). Cut out with your doggie bone cutters.

That's it!

The Inspector is on the Job!

Same baking as the cookies: Bake for 45 minutes. Then turn off oven and let sit for a few hours (or move to a dehydrator). If cookies still seem soft after an hour or two, go ahead and turn the oven back on to 350 bake for 10 minutes, then shut off. Don't open the oven and let them cool.
